Both the Bladez Fitness R300 and R500i are well-built recumbent exercise bikes that offer lots of workout programs and resistance levels to keep your workouts varied and progressively challenging.

Both the Bladez Fitness R300 and R500i incorporate electronically controlled magnetic resistance for smooth and quiet operation.  Both Bladez recumbent bikes come with an easy-to-read blue backlit LCD display that shows the progress of your workouts with stats including time, speed, distance, heart-rate, and calories burned.

So how do the Bladez Fitness R300 and Bladez Fitness R500i Recumbent Bikes differ?  To begin with, the R500i is Bladez’ top-of-the-range recumbent bike with significant differences to the R300, including more workout programs and resistance levels (see table below).  The Bladez Fitness R500i is also larger in size and built to accommodate a higher user weight capacity.

One of the major differences between the two recumbent bikes is that the Bladez R500i incorporates iConcept technology which effectively gives you countless additional programs via downloadable apps.  Users can download compatible apps to their mobile phone or tablet for both interactive training workouts and entertainment purposes.

The seat on the Bladez R500i is also more adjustable than the R300 to give a better fit.  While both seats can be adjusted fore/aft along a sliding seat rail to accommodate different user heights, there is also a different between the seat heights (see table below) and, in addition, the Bladez R500i also features a 3-position reclining backrest with vertical adjustments.

As you would expect with a top model, the Bladez Fitness R500i Recumbent Bike retails at a higher price than the R300, so you have to decide whether you think the extra features are worth paying the extra cash for!

Both the Ironman IFT 1000 and IFT 4000 Inversion Tables invert up to a full 180 degrees, helping to stretch out the spine and relieve pressure on discs and ligaments.  See my article “Benefits of Inversion Tables for Back Pain Relief” to see how inversion tables work and the health and therapeutic benefits they can bring.

Both the Ironman IFT 1000 and IFT 4000 utilize ultra-thin built-in carbon fiber heating elements that heat the backrest up to a maximum of 140 degrees warmth, which can be adjusted via a remote control.  The temperature is displayed on an LED controller and can be set on a timer.

Both the Ironman IFT 1000 and IFT 4000 have been safety tested by ETL and are ergonomically designed for comfort, with extra long safety handles for easy inverting.  Both Ironman inversion tables are adjustable for different user heights ranging from 4ft 9” up to 6ft 6” tall.

So what’s the difference between the IFT 1000 and IFT 4000 Infrared Therapy Inversion Tables?  The Ironman IFT 4000 is the higher-end model over the IFT 1000 and, as you would expect, it comes with a higher price tag.  So what are you getting for the extra money and is it worth paying the extra cash for?

The Ironman IFT 4000 is also more solidly built than the IFT 1000, supporting up to 350 lb bodyweight compared to the IFT 1000’s 275 lbs capacity.  The ankle locking system on these 2 Ironman inversion tables also differ, with the IFT 4000 featuring a palm-activated easy-to-reach Ratchet system while the IFT 1000 features a Spring loaded system.

Both the Ironman IFT 1000 and IFT 4000 fold up for easy storage.

What are Inversion Tables and How do they Work?

Inversion tables are designed to help improve posture and reduce back and joint pain.

Inversion tables work by securing a person in an inverted position (up to a full 180 degrees) which helps to naturally stretch the body and subsequently helps to improve flexibility and relieve pressure on the spine and joints.

In addition, “inverting” can also help to stimulate the circulation, increasing blood circulation and overall energy levels.

Some people find that it can take a little while to get used to the inverted position and it may be best to begin with a short period of time and less inversion angle, gradually working your way up with longer periods and up to the full 180 degree angle.

Once you get used to the unique feeling of using an inversion table, you will find it a very relaxing experience and as a consequence “inverting” will also help to reduce stress levels.
